As a mom myself I found I wanted to work but nothing seemed flexible enough or financially made sense #minimumwagejobs to be away from my children.
Being a mother is probably the toughest job as it is a journey filled with sacrifices. I personally know many friends who are moms and have left their careers for the sake of their kids. Some of these friends constantly talk about getting back to work now that their kids have grown older. However, they don’t know where or how to start. Being a notary, I have been able to continue with my work even after becoming a mom. If you are a mom looking to revive your career, then becoming a notary is a good start.
Here is why I feel becoming a notary is good for moms.
Strike the right work-life balance
One of the main reasons why women leave their job after becoming a mother is that they are unable to maintain a good #worklifebalance. The working hours in the corporate sector can be very overwhelming for new moms. This is precisely why the notary business is the right choice for moms. Being a notary comes with flexible working hours. You can choose how much you want to work as you only have to answer to yourself.
Become financially independent
When women choose their family over their careers, they also lose their financial independence. In this painfully patriarchal society, it is very important for women to have financial independence. When you start as a notary, it takes time to earn high figures. However, if you keep doing the work consistently, you will eventually have enough clients to call yourself financially independent. I was able to make a full - time income working part - time and still be able to raise my children.
Chance to start fresh
Many moms are skeptical about returning to the corporate work life. The burden of a 9-5 job along with the responsibilities of being a mother can be mentally taxing. Instead of returning to their old boring job, moms have the chance to start fresh. Becoming a notary can be the perfect restart to your career. People are frustrated about their corporate job but I have been in the notary industry long enough to understand that the work is easily manageable and extremely flexible.
Change gears at your own pace
As I have mentioned above, by becoming a notary, you can work at your own time and also take care of your kids. However, there will come a time in your life when your kids will grow and you will no longer need to micromanage them. This is when you can shift your gear and scale your #notarybusiness. As a notary, you can scale your operation and reach out to more clients once your kids start going to school or college. You have the luxury of expanding your notary business if you are willing to put the time and effort into it.
Conclusion
The best thing about the notary industry is that you can start anytime. Don’t worry if you are a new mom or a mom in your 50s, you can still start your journey as a notary. It is better to start late than not start at all!! I am rooting for you!
